Two NIE addresses in Granada, one confirmation
Why two official pages place the NIE desk at different addresses, what each one says, and the only document that tells you where you are expected.
Granada is one of the cities where the official sources do not quite agree. According to the police directory, NIE certificates and the EU citizens’ regime belong to the Brigada Provincial de Extranjería y Fronteras, in Calle La Palmita. The Delegación del Gobierno page lists the same procedures at the police unit inside the Oficina de Extranjería, Calle San Agapito 2, and gives La Palmita a shorter list.
The University of Granada, for its part, sends incoming students to San Agapito 2 for the EU registration certificate and the TIE fingerprints. That is a strong hint, but not a ruling, and neither official page carries a date that would settle the matter.
The practical answer is simpler than the documentary one. Your cita previa confirmation names an office. Go to that office, at that time, with the documents of your procedure. And when the number is needed while you are still far from Granada, you can get a NIE online through Gestoraz rather than wait for a slot in the city.
