Comisarías de la provincia
Beyond the city: the comisarías of Motril and Baza
Outside the city, the police directory lists NIE and TIE procedures at two comisarías: Motril, for the Costa Tropical, and Baza, for the altiplano. For those who live near them, either can be a much shorter journey than Granada.
Comisaría de Motril
Calle Aguas del Hospital s/n, 18600 Motril, according to the police directory. The Delegación del Gobierno page writes Calle Aguas del Hospital, 1, with the phone numbers 958 602 056 and 958 834 908 and weekday hours of 9:00–14:00.
The directory lists TIE issue, NIE certificates and assignment, invitation letters, the EU citizens’ regime, stay extensions, non-lucrative residence and nationality reports.
Comisaría de Baza
Calle Alhóndiga 18, 18800 Baza. The Delegación del Gobierno page adds the phone numbers 958 700 391 and 958 700 700, and the same weekday hours, 9:00–14:00.
The directory lists TIE issue, NIE certificates and assignment, invitation letters, the EU citizens’ regime, return authorisations and nationality reports.
Booking an appointment there
Appointments come from the same national system, through the cita previa for the province of Granada. When the system lets you choose the office, these two can appear; when it proposes one, the confirmation names it. As with the two extranjería addresses of the city, that confirmation is the reference.

Questions
Do both comisarías handle the same procedures?
No. Their lists in the police directory differ from each other and from the city’s: Motril lists non-lucrative residence and stay extensions, Baza return authorisations. Check your procedure before you book.
Is there information on reaching them by bus?
No. The official pages give addresses and phone numbers, not transport directions.
